About Threads of Fancy
Threads of Fancy came about on a whim (and a prayer) in 2013 after years of hearing "why aren't you selling these?" from friends and family. I decided to finally toss my hat in the ring, and I've been very pleased with the results of that decision! My repitoire has grown with my business, as has my product lines. Someday I might decide to narrow my scope and do less types of animals, but not yet - they are all fun and the looks I see on little faces that light up when they visit my booth keep me coming back again and again.
Jeannie Boniface was born in a small town in Minnesota, and learned to sew on her grandmother's lap. She took that skill to the next level and used her sewing machine to make extra money in college doing alterations for the girls in her dorm. When she met her future husband, David, she had no idea she would be joining such a talented family of women artists!
